Selection:
We decided on certain criteria for selecting the girls for this program. All the girls should possibly be from the ZP School of the respective area. They all should be of 10-12 years of age. After this, we travelled to multiple tribal villages meeting with the parents and teachers of these girls. The girls in their lifetime had not even moved out of their villages and we were asking their parents to send them to Nashik City, far away from their villages. It was a tough task to convince their parents. Initially & understandingly, the parents were very reluctant to agree to our proposal but we continued our efforts to convince them for almost three months. The main difficulty was we were hardly known to these people, they knew us only during sports tournaments. We kept manage on trying and finally succeeded. In the first year, we manage to convince 16 parents to send their daughters with us in the best interest of their daughters at this juncture. Now number has doubled and has reached 42 girls. The age group of the girls is between 1 to 18 years of age.

We also conduct various programs like kids poetry, inspirational speech etc ti helps in the overall growth and development of these girls. Girls have also visited the office of 'Sakal' newspaper and 'Vishwas Bank' to understand how these institutions work.
Banking:
Considering the importance of savings, On 1st January 2021 the girls started their own bank, named as "Aavart Bank". Girls have nominated 7 girls on director board for the bank and it is operated, the way a normal bank operates. All the members of this bank deposit a specific amount in this bank every month, this amount can be as low as 1 rupee. This helps to learn the importance and benefits of savings from a young age. We must be the only bank in India that is run by female sports person for the female sports person.
